The Torah is divided into 3 parts: Torah, Prophets, and Writings.
עם ישראל נחלק לשלושה
כהן, לוי וישראל
The Jewish people are divided into 3 groups: Kohen, Levi, and Israel.
התורה ניתנה על־ידי משה, שהיה השלישי במשפחה: מרים, אהרן ומשה
The Torah was given through Moshe, who was a 3rd sibling: Miriam, Aaron, and Moshe.
התורה ניתנה לאחר שלושה ימים של פרישות וטהרה
The Torah was given after 3 days of separation and spiritual preparation.
והיא ניתנה בחודש השלישי – חודש סיוון
And it was given in the 3rd month, the month of Sivan.
דיברנו על ההבדל בין עולם התוהו לעולם התיקון
There is the World of Chaos (Tohu) and the World of Rectification (Tikun).
עולם התוהו הוא מצב שבו כל אחד פועל בצורה קיצונית
כל צד מושך לכיוון שלו, בלי גבול ובלי חיבור לאחר
The world of chaos is when each side acts in an extreme way, pulling in its own direction, without balance or connection to others.
לעומת זאת, עולם התיקון הוא מצב שבו כל צד מבין
שיש עוד נקודת מבט וצריך חיבור ואיזון.
The world of rectification is when each side recognizes
that there is another perspective and seeks balance and connection.
בפרשה נאמר שעם ישראל הוא עם סגולה.
The Jewish people are an am segulah — a treasured nation.
המילה סגולה קשורה לסגול
The word segulah is connected to the vowel segol.
סגול מורכב משלוש נקודות
שתיים למעלה ואחת למטה שמחברת ביניהן
Segol is made of three dots:
two above and one below that connects them.
לעומת זאת, צֵירֵי מורכב משתי נקודות זו ליד זו.
Tzeirei, by contrast, is made of two dots next to each other.
צֵירֵי מסמל את עולם התוהו
כל צד נשאר לעצמו
Tzeirei represents the world of chaos each side standing on its own.
סגול מסמל את עולם התיקון
צד שלישי שמאחד
Segol represents the world of rectification a 3rd point that unites.
העבודה שלנו בחיים היא תמיד לשאול:
מה הצד השלישי חושב? מה ה’ רוצה מאיתנו
Our task in life is always to ask:
What is the third perspective? What does Hashem want from us?
לפעמים אדם עומד בפני החלטה
חושב וחושב ולא מגיע למסקנה
Sometimes a person faces a decision, overthinks it, and cannot reach clarity.
הרבי מלמד בפשטות
כל אדם צריך לקחת משפיע
The Rebbe teaches simply
every person should have a mashpia (mentor).
ומה שהמשפיע מורה לו — זה רצון השם
What the mashpia guides him to do — that is Hashem’s will.
כאשר מכניסים צד שלישי לחיים
חיים באופן של תיקון, ולא של תוהו
When we bring a 3rd perspective into our lives,
we live in a way of rectification, not chaos.
וזה כל כך פשוט
ובגלל שזה כל כך פשוט, אנשים לפעמים דוחים את זה
Since this concept is so simple
people sometimes delay doing it.
