Rabbi Zalman Gansburg was born in Milan, Italy. After studying in Rabbinical colleges in France, England, Israel, and Canada, he received his Rabbinical ordination at the Rabbinical College of America.
Chani Gansburg, born in Vancouver, Canada, and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, received her teaching degree in Melbourne, Australia.
They met and married in New York, and soon after their wedding, they moved to Miami where Rabbi Gansburg advanced his rabbinical studies in an intense two-year Kollel program. After completing his Kollel studies, Rabbi Gansburg directed the American division of Brit Yosef Yitzchak, an international organization providing Brit Milah (circumcisions) for males worldwide.
Both stemming from parents who serve as emissaries of the Chabad movement around the world, Rabbi Zalman and Chani Gansburg continue the legacy of being emissaries of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. They share the vision of creating a spiritual haven and a Jewish center for the Jewish population of Palmetto Bay.
